Life's Little Lesson # 3

If you go to Lahore, and you absolutely must have (and when I say absolutely must have, I literally do mean absolutely-must-have-or-I-wouldn't-know-the-meaning-of-life kind of must have) the local Gol Gappa/Pani Puri, you must in all sense of its meaning be prepared for what may follow.

In the most recent case, I completely denied that the dust, pollution may be getting to me when I started sneezing a day earlier. I also conveniently ignored that teeny tiny itch in my throat (Remember... must have Gol Gappa). Nothing came between me and my awaited serving. Ah, happy day ("day"=singular connotation).
The next day, not only did I have a horrible, horrible mucus-producing sore throat, I lost my voice, had fever, couldn't sleep, threw up twice through the night and got the flu the next day. Brilliant, no?

Mental Note: must have Gol Gappa from alternate location next time.
