DIY Paper Organizing Solutions

In the midst of organizing my craft space and making a list of stuff I'd need, I realized how expensive some of the basic storage items can be. Take the cropper hopper vertical storage for example. It's like $8-10 for one holder. So, (and this is one of the best "so"s that I've expressed) I thought I'd make my own.

Using thick cardstock, paper cutter, adhesive and a corner rounder, this is what I made.

Look mom, I can fly!

Then I thought, why stop there? I made two 12" x 12" paper organizers and one for my standard card size.

I love this one

Handmade Notepad with Cricut Elements

I just had to break the ice with my new bug so for my little sister's birthday, I made her a notepad.
She loves cutesy, flowery, pinkish (you get the idea right!) stuff so this turned out pretty well considering I hadn't planned it out before starting. But I'm so excited to think about everything that I can eventually do with this baby.

Hello Happiness

It's raining cats and dogs here. It is either that or life's several reality checks that have woken my blogging spirit today. Whichever it is, I'm glad I'm back. 'Nothing like typing to a happy window.

Remember how I used to say I'm without any fancy craft tools and how I adore stationary heaven. Well say hello to my dream because the Dude just recently got me my baby Cricut. I can't even begin to say how happy I am. Call me silly, but it's like I've been introduced to a whole new world out there. It's lovely.

I will of course be posting all my paper crafts here but for now, here's a look outside my window today.
